There’s no better way to make a patio shine than to grow food on it. The simple request was for space to grow the hot crops these gardeners are nuts for; tomatoes, basil and cucumber, the perfect ingredients for a summer salad. With wheels, these boxes are extra versatile too!
This Hastings-Sunrise foodie was tired of his tiny East Van balcony doing nothing but collecting dust! So, we built him a patio veggie garden and now he’s got the space to grow a ton of greens, herbs and brassicas!
This East Van south-facing patio is the perfect location for a few Victory Gardens handmade cedar containers. Along with providing the boxes, we are coaching with this restauranteur, teaching him all he needs to learn to grow organic veggies!
This 47th floor patio garden is comprised of three custom-built stacked cedar post patio containers on castors, growing pea shoots, kale, cilantro, tomatoes, basil, strawberries and evergreen huckleberries.
Victory Gardens visited this urban apartment patio and was immediately excited about the possibilities. Three containers later, the residents are growing herbs and veggies for a family of two.
